Justification of the didactic unit
 
 
Why is communication important in your „future business life“? 
 
Communication skills help to plan, manage, ogranize, promote, innovate various arketing, mamagement, development, construction process, and systems. Communication skills are important to market and promote the bussines. Communication skills help to build and inspire people to work towards organizational goals. And communication skills is the method that business can use to provide great costumer experience. Communication skills are important to remove the communication gap between empoloyer and employeses. Communication skills help reduce stress and improve productivity. And this is the way that inspires everyone to achieve the organizational goals effectively and happily. That is why communication skills are very important in business management and organizations.
 
We are going to improve communications skills through the intuitive games and dramatherapy.  
 
One of the major advantages of choosing to undergo Dramatherapy is the development of a person’s confidence and their growth in becoming a well-versed communicator.
 
The use of theatricality and group-oriented performances will aid the individual undergoing Dramatherapy in becoming gradually comfortable in expressing their innermost thoughts, feelings and experiences with people. This is a skill which they can take with them beyond the process of Dramatherapy and into the workforce and the social sphere.

Training: How to express your feelings by dramatherapy.

Contents of transversal treatment
  • It explores unhealthy personal patterns of behaviour and interpersonal interaction
  • It encourages self-awareness, exploration and reflection on feelings and relationship
  • It enables students to experiment with new ways of thinking and behaving;
  • It offers non-verbal method of working
  
 
 
ACTIVITIES
 
  • Long term main activity: 
  • Private company“ competition (DRAMATHERAPY training included)
  • Objectives of the activity
    • 1. Motivate teachers and students to engage in creative activity during classes.
    • 2. Based on the school company model explain students how the company works in real life.
    • 3. Training of dramatherapy
    • 4. Real sale of products on market (using communication skills)
  • Description of the activity
    • 1. Introduction
      • At the beginning of the activity, groups (companies) will be created by individual classes or by merging maximum two classes together. Non-class teachers and assistants can join any company which has to accept them.
        • Company No.1 will be class 7.A
        • Company No.2 will be class 6.A
        • Company No.3 will be class TVB + 8.A
    • 2. Identity
      • Teacher presents to students in a suitable way, what is the company, how it works and what will be our role in it. Explain the rules and outline the timetable.
        • Give a name to your established company. (e.g. Lienka)
        • Company logo. (you can make a contest during art classes about the best student logo)
        • The logo is then pinned to notice boar3. Donation
        • Each company will receive a donation of € 3.50 per student to purchase materials for producing products. Purchase has to be backed up by cash bill or invoice.
          • Note: teachers may not use their own financial resources to produce products.
    • 4. Production period
      • The material used, the chosen production technique and the choice of final product is up to teacher`s decision.
      • Note: products made must not be associated with any holiday in the year (e.g. Christmas, New Year - decorations, ikebans, etc.)
      • Each product will have its serial number (e.g. 1, 2)
      • The number will be registered by teacher and assigned to student who produced the product.
      • Products can by made by students only with the presentation to the teacher. The teacher does not interfere with the production.
      • A short video is made from the production process by smart phone, which can be later used as a help and inspiration for other teachers who will want to acquire the production technique for the future. The video can be also a part of the final presentation.
    • 5. Product exhibition
      • Joint exhibition of products in large class where we show what we have created.
    • 6. Training of dramatherapy
    • 7. Sale of products
      • Sale of products in Christmas markets and other markets by students and teachers.
      • (at least 1 student from each company)
      • Personal sale – teachers
      • Teachers may sell products to their friends, to the public, but not to their families or colleagues.
      • The sale should be carried in the spirit of "Fair Trade". No speculations.
      • Possible sale through the social networks or E-shop (in the future).
      • The sales revenue is used by the teacher to purchase another material that can be used during classes or to give the share of the profit to students, who participated in production.
      • 7. Notes
      • Each company will keep notes about production and sales.
      • Material expenditures, sales profit, list of products and students who produced them.
      • + video records, photos..
    • 8. The final evaluation of the companies by a professional jury
      • Finally, each company represented by a teacher + student will make a presentation to present the company development from its beginning to the end of the activity. How was it doing, how were name and logo created, where did they search for ideas and inspirations, describe production techniques and selling, etc.)
      • The professional jury will select three best companies.

METHODOLOGY
 
 Methodology and technics
  • Dramatic projection – a technique that allows participants to project their inner feelings and work their issues out onto a role or object.
  • Personification and impersonation – two different techniques in which participants can express their own personal material through role play or onto an object.
  • Playing – an attitude characterized by spontaneous problem-solving, in which a play space is staked out, objects are actively repurposed into new roles, and allowances are made for changes.
  • Life-drama connection – a process in which participants analyze their personal problems or issues through dramatic projection.
  • Transformation – an inherent aspect of much of what happens in theater and in play, built right into the structure of telling a story
